The eye symbol appears across cultures as a form of protection — traditionally worn to guard against negative intention.

In this interpretation, the eye also reflects awareness. A reminder to move through the world with discernment rather than fear.

A recurring motif throughout Yelena’s work, the eye represents perception beyond the surface — the practice of looking inward as much as outward.

Protection, here, is rooted in awareness.
